Here is an article also by Fusion’s founder on the emergency of true discipleship in the USA.

A Vision of Students Today

Here is a link to a YouTube video about today's young people.  It is a secular video from Kansas State University but it does a good job reflecting the thoughts and concerns of educating this generation.  On the the realities of the formalized classroom, the video states: "If students learn what they do...Then why are they learning sitting here?"  This is just another reason that Fusion does so much of its instruction outside the formalized classroom.

A Vision of K-12 Students Today

This link is also to a YouTube video, this time examining kids who are K-12.  Again it is secular,  It is another prod in the side of the church that we are to be in the world; not of the world.  I encourage parents and Christian teachers to encourage our children how to utilize this technology to engage a lost culture with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and develop new and innovative ways to disciple and "sharpen" each other in the Lord.

The Call of Discipleship and Missions

Here is a sermon from Paul Washer on the call of discipleship and missions.  His words are to be heeded.

You Will Suffer by John Piper

This is an incredible sermonette from John Piper entitled You Will Suffer.  It is a good reminder that when we are truly following after Christ, we should not be surprised when we suffer hardship.  Tennants of the health and wealth gospel need not apply...

Take Risks! Francis Chan

Francis Chan lays it out quite clearly what it means to take risks (and the consequences of not taking risks...).  Both funny and applicable!
