Application Instructions for Fusion 2012-2013 Applicants!
2012-2013 cost is $15,000.
Start Here: Create an Account on www.gofusion.ws
Click on the
‘APPLY HERE’ button on the front page of the site and use the third link to create an account. This will give you access to more information and you can be placed in a blog group with other applicants.
Check the site periodically for updates on upcoming dates for Fusion 2012-2013.
Completing the Applications:
There are 2 applications for Fusion; the Midwestern Baptist College Application for Admission and the IMB Student Missionary application.

Let us know when you begin the application process so we can begin your student file.
To schedule Campus Visits at Midwestern contact Fusion staff at 816.414.3777 and be sure to indicate Fusion on your MBTS application.
The Fusion year is considered a gap-year program, thus Federal Financial Aid is not available.
However, Fusion credits transfer directly into a 4 year degree program at Midwestern: Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries with a concentration in Cross Cultural Studies.
IMB Student Missionary Application Info:
This information is needed for the first section of the IMB application.
Dates Available: August 4, 2012 – June 1, 2013

Follow-Up with References:
The reference forms for Midwestern and IMB applications are different forms, however, you can list the same people as references for both applications.
The reference forms for the IMB application will be delivered by automatic emails to the persons you list as references, after you save and then submit the application.
You will want to contact these persons to verify that they receive the reference forms and contact Barbara Key with the verified email addresses at 804.219.1063 if they do not receive the form.
Ordering the IMB Background Check:
The IMB background check is part of the application process and can only be ordered once you reach age 18.
If you are 18 at the time you submit your application, you should receive an email a couple of days after you submit your app that includes a link to order the background check online for $18.
This background check will be sent to IMB once it has been processed.
If you are not 18 at the time of your application, the background check will be ordered at a later date following your 18th birthday and you will receive an email at that time.
